Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile e-commerce applications. We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer who can design, write, and execute detailed test plans and test cases using modern automation frameworks and best practices.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on automation experience and a problem-solving mindset who wants to build scalable test systems—not just execute test cases manually.

Job Description

You will perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile e-commerce applications, design, write, and execute detailed test plans and test cases. Additionally, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless product releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile e-commerce applications
  • Design, write, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless product releases
  • Report, document, and track bugs through resolution
  • Test responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and device performance
  • Ensure compliance with product requirements and business logic
  • Verify data accuracy, user journeys, and payment gateway integrations
  • Contribute to regression, smoke, and UAT testing cycles
  • (If applicable) Develop and maintain automated test cases using testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in QA for web-based applications, ideally in e-commerce
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp)
  • Ability to understand business flows and test end-to-end user scenarios
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and browser dev tools for debugging
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
