We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Search Engine Optimization and Content Marketing efforts. This strategic role involves managing all aspects of SEO, from on-page optimization to technical SEO, while also overseeing content planning, writing, and optimization.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing team to grow organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and create high-quality content that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    • Conduct thorough keyword research and implement strategies across web pages and blog content.
    • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, images, and internal linking to enhance user experience and search engine crawlability.
    • Perform regular SEO audits to identify and resolve issues such as broken links, thin content, and poor site architecture.
    • Implement and improve site architecture and crawlability to ensure seamless navigation and maximum discoverability.
  • Off-Page SEO:
    • Develop and execute link-building strategies through outreach, guest posting, and content partnerships to increase brand visibility and credibility.
    • Analyze competitors' backlink profiles and identify opportunities for building high-quality backlinks.
    • Monitor and disavow toxic backlinks that may harm our online reputation.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, structured data, and more.
    • Manage sitemaps, robots.txt files, canonical tags, and crawl budgets to maintain optimal search engine crawling and indexing.
    • Monitor and fix indexing issues and crawl errors via Google Search Console to prevent lost revenue and reputational damage.
  • Content Strategy & Writing:
    • Develop and manage an editorial content calendar aligned with SEO goals, industry trends, and user intent to drive engagement and conversions.
    • Write high-quality blog posts, service pages, landing pages, product descriptions, and other web content that resonates with our target audience and supports SEO objectives.
    • Ensure all content is optimized for improved search engine rankings, brand voice, and user experience.
    • Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance content presentation and user experience.
    • Optimize existing content for improved search engine rankings and conversions.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and backlink health using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
    • Create monthly SEO and content performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Use data-driven decision making to guide content and SEO strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO and content writing experience.
  • Proven track record of writing SEO-optimized web content that drives results.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and search intent.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, SurferSEO, Frase, Clearscope, Screaming Frog, Yoast, and Rank Math.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with content marketing funnels and lead generation techniques.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow.
