About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend web technologies to join our team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable systems, taking ownership of key engineering projects, and providing technical leadership.

Your expertise in NodeJS, Typescript, and GraphQL will enable us to deliver high-quality products and improve our analytical data capabilities.

You will work closely with Product Managers to translate product requirements into engineering specifications and lead code review efforts.

Additionally, you will participate in product discussions, take ownership and initiative, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in developing scalable web applications
  • Strong computer science and programming fundamentals
  • Production experience with NodeJS and Typescript
  • Experience with Databases, ORMs, and microservices
  • A good understanding of agile development methodologies and techniques
  • A proven ability to take projects from ideas through to robust solutions
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks
  • Experience with React, Redux, and SSR
  • Experience working with a distributed cloud platform
