  • Achieve Sales Objectives
    • Contribute to strategic plans and reviews by providing market and sales information.
    • Prepare and implement action plans, productivity standards, and customer-service standards.
    • Resolve problems, complete audits, and identify trends.
  • Meet Financial Objectives
    • Forecast requirements and prepare an annual budget.
    • Schedule expenditures and analyze variances.
    • Initiate corrective actions and determine system improvements.
  • Determine Annual and Gross-Profit Plans
    • Develop annual sales quotas for regions.
    • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
    • Analyze trends and results, establish pricing strategies, and recommend selling prices.
  • Achieve Marketing and Sales Objectives
    • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs.
    • Develop field sales action plans.
  • Identify Marketing Opportunities
    • Define market share and competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
    • Forecast projected business and establish targeted market share.
  • Improve Product Marketability and Profitability
    • Research, identify, and capitalize on market opportunities.
    • Improve product packaging and coordinate new product development.
  • Sustain Key Accounts
    • Maintain relationships with key accounts through regular visits and exploration of specific needs.
