Job Title: Realtime Game Developer

We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine 4 developer to join our development team for ongoing work on multiple projects, focusing on custom game development (augmented and virtual reality).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage UE4's framework in C++ and Blueprint to create engaging game systems and features.
  • Guide artists and Blueprint developers to ensure their work adheres to game system design while maintaining good style and optimization standards.
  • Investigate and resolve issues within the UE4 source code, making necessary architectural changes and understanding their impact on future engine versions.
  • Manage code protection through source control and bug reporting software, prioritizing bugs effectively.
  • Maintain strong problem-solving and analytical skills to overcome complex technical challenges.
  • Explore emerging technologies to develop new tools and systems for interactive real-time production.
  • Ensure compliance with performance benchmarks and integration with third-party ride control systems.
  • Deliver high-quality, well-documented code.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Unreal Engine.
  • Proficiency in C++, both within Unreal Engine and independently.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Able to work on-site; remote applicants will not be considered.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools and processes involved in real-time 3D asset production.
  • Design, implement, and maintain systems and tools supporting gameplay (animation, locomotion, navigation, combat, etc.).
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other programmers as needed.
  • Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code.
  • Profile and optimize code to remove bottlenecks.
  • Test and document produced code.
  • Support tools and technology as required for specific project needs.
  • Interest in Oculus Rift and other Virtual Reality tools is a plus.
