We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Backend Developer to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, constantly seeking to learn and improve their skillset.

The successful candidate will develop, record and maintain cutting-edge web-based applications using PHP and Laravel. They will build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team to ensure seamless integration.

A key responsibility will be to prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools, such as AWS and MySQL. Additionally, they will utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a PHP/Laravel developer and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a similar relevant field. In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework is essential.

They will also have hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design, software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat), MySQL profiling and query optimization.

A creative and efficient problem solver, the ideal candidate will be able to lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.

Responsibilities include communicating effectively with task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues. The successful candidate will also document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
