About the Senior Network Engineer Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical escalation support to junior engineers
  • Design and deliver training programs for network architecture and knowledge sharing
  • Elevate potential issues to management personnel as needed
  • Develop training materials to help junior engineers advance in their careers
  • Collaborate with the High Touch Team and Application Engineering on monitoring configurations
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across various technologies including Arista, Aruba, Cisco, F5, Juniper, Meraki, Palo Alto, and Riverbed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco Router and Switch Networks, Cisco Wireless Networks, and Cisco Security Products
  • Knowledge of F5 Load Balancers, Juniper Routers and Switches, Arista Network Switches, and Riverbed Steelhead WAN Accelerators is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • CCNA, CCNP R&S, CCIE R&S certification
