Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our internal orchestration platform—a critical system powering automation across our products and services.

This is not just about tools and scripts automation. You will help architect, design, and implement a robust orchestration engine built using Java microservices and a NoSQL document database.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Solution Enablement teams to expose automation capabilities as APIs and internal services while ensuring seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the backend orchestration platform.
  • Lead the development of Java-based microservices and distributed components.
  • Model and manage NoSQL document databases for tracking task states and metadata.
  • Define internal API contracts and services for modular orchestration logic.
  • Collaborate on infrastructure supporting agentic workflows and AI-native use cases.
  • Architect services for document chunking, embedding indexing, prompt chaining, and context injection.
  • Work with AI and Product teams to design extensible systems for evolving LLM tooling and chaining methods.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and automation layers into the orchestration fabric.
  • Provide extensible APIs and libraries for reusable automation blocks or launching agents programmatically.
  • Collaborate with frontend and systems engineers to surface automation configuration and observability.
Core Requirements
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java for building scalable microservices.
  • Experience with NoSQL document databases.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems patterns—queues, retries, idempotency, service orchestration.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with automation platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python scripting and API-based integrations.
  • Understanding of LLM architectures, embedding systems, vector search, and prompt engineering techniques.
