Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in supporting E-House Solutions across various industries, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Utilities.

The successful candidate will lead the design, installation, and commissioning of power systems and switchgear solutions while ensuring seamless project execution, cost optimization, and cross-disciplinary coordination from concept to completion.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, installation, and commissioning of Low Voltage Switchgear & MCC's, Medium Voltage Switchgear & MCC's, AC & DC UPS systems, Transformer Systems, Power Management Systems, VFD & Soft starters
  • Maintenance activities for above systems
  • Knowledge of low and medium voltage switchgear construction
  • Basic understanding of HVAC system design
Project Execution:
  • Review project RFQ and ensure project scope is executed in line with customer requirements and sale commitments
  • Lead project design & execution activities and assign tasks to available team members
  • Perform effort estimation for project engineering, construction, and testing works and develop detailed project budget
  • Review engineering documentation assigned as per project plan
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Ensure project execution is completed within allocated hours
  • Coordinate reviews with inter-disciplinary teams
  • Ensure project QA/QC plan is followed internally and by contractors
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-6 years of engineering design & commissioning experience with minimum 2 years of experience in a lead role and 2 years of on-site experience in installation & commissioning of electrical systems
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master Degree in engineering or related field
  • Competencies: Self-driven, able to carve out solutions to challenging problems, out of the box thinker, able to demonstrate proactiveness in day-to-day activities
