About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Cost Savings Specialist to lead our innovation efforts. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for delivering significant cost savings while ensuring project execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to deliver $5M+ cost savings within a calendar year.
  • Lead cost out/VAVE division teams to achieve cost savings targets.
  • Collaborate with global partners to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination for project management and design activities.
  • Work with project leaders to resolve project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Establish standard work and PPI systems for continuous improvement and effective execution.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency matrices and resource loading for the team.
  • Mentor team members for continued professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics engineering.
  • 10+ years of overall experience with strong sustenance and cost out project execution experience.
  • 3 years of experience in multi-project team management handling a portfolio of more than 50 projects at any given point in time.
  • Delivered $5M+ cost savings for the business handled over the career.
  • Experience developing strategy and detailed plans for the portfolio to meet and exceed goals.
  • Strong record of driving strategic initiatives and deliveries.
  • Proficient with gate/technical review processes.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements, certification, and engineering standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence team members.
  • Excellent people leadership skills.
