System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, including operating systems, servers, and container platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and middleware technologies, as well as familiarity with containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). They will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to document issues and solutions clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.

This is a 24/7 support role, requiring the ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment with opportunities for skill development and career growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Resolution: Address and resolve basic technical issues related to OS, middleware, and container platforms.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability. Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient platform operation.
  • Basic Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Troubleshoot common issues with operating systems, middleware, and container platforms, diagnosing and resolving them or escalating when necessary.
  • Log Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze system logs to identify issues, understand root causes, and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration and Escalation: Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex problems and escalate incidents requiring higher-level expertise.
