Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Associate, General Account Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the department's daily operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions, and providing excellent support to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, including local and foreign transactions.
  2. Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Maintain accurate records and schedules of assets and liabilities.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to resolve day-to-day matters.
  5. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing activities and internal and external audits.
  6. Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  1. Relevant qualifications in finance, such as ICMA finalist/ACCA finalist/BBA in Finance or equivalent.
  2. At least 2-3 years of experience in finance, preferably in a similar role.
  3. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, income tax, and sales tax laws.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and other computer packages.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
