Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Checking bills and verifying item quantity, rate, and bill amount.
  • Verifying items against GRNs and checking their quality and quantity.
  • Executing product costing to verify vendor rates.
  • Entering bills into ERP systems and obtaining senior approval.
  • Reconciling ledgers and processing payments to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining store ledger cards to update inventory levels.
  • Liaising with banks for pay orders, bank deposits, and statement reconciliation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.
  • A degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
