Radiographer - Imaging Services

The role of a Radiographer is multifaceted and requires strong technical skills in radiological procedures. As part of the Outreach Services team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks including maintaining relevant equipment, ensuring quality assurance activities are completed daily, and providing patient education on pre and post-radiological procedures.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to:
- Carry out radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians and maintain accurate records.
- Demonstrate proficiency in processing images and identify minor issues that require attention.
- Maintain the functionality of relevant equipment and perform minor adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct daily quality assurance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide patients with educational information on radiological procedures and prepare them for any required actions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety measures, to protect both patients and staff.
To excel in this position, you should have:
- A Science stream intermediate certificate or a B.Sc. degree with traineeship in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Certification as a radiologic technologist/technician from a reputable Institute.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role as a Radiographer is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
