Software Engineering Role

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to fill a key position within our engineering team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our product's backend using industry-leading technologies.

Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and improving software systems with an emphasis on databases and APIs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable, flexible, and high-performance software systems
  • Design and develop software systems, including databases and APIs
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Perform DevOps tasks, from server setup to maintenance and recovery
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases, including Redis, Postgres, and Cassandra
  • Fluency in Python and Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with web servers, web application servers, and code repositories like Git
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
