Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in front-end development, specifically with React.js and its ecosystem. They will also have a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and be familiar with testing frameworks like Jest or Vue Test Utils.

  • Develop user interfaces and web applications using React.js.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to implement user-friendly and responsive designs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers, as well as working closely with the development team to integrate back-end APIs and services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience with React.js and its ecosystem (React Router, Redux, etc.).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Vue Test Utils is a plus.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
Education

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science is required.
