Virtual Property Manager

Job Description

The Virtual Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of a high-net-worth principal's portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience supporting an executive or managing real estate operations, with exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with a deep understanding of real estate operations and a passion for strategic execution. You'll work directly with a high-net-worth principal who leads a portfolio of over 100 apartment units and commercial properties.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the communication hub between ownership and property management teams, tracking and ensuring execution of directives across multifamily and commercial assets.
  • Manage daily operations and task management, including maintenance tasks, utilities, and vendor coordination.
  • Monitor leasing activity and ensure timely follow-ups, managing tenant communication and coordinating with leasing teams.
  • Schedule, follow up, and ensure completion of work orders and projects, negotiating service agreements and evaluating vendor performance.
  • Track rent collections and assist with accounting reports and delinquencies, supporting audits, insurance renewals, LLC filings, and expense management.
  • Manage the principal's calendar, communications, and meeting logistics, drafting correspondence, organizing notes, and following up on action items.
  • Assist in tracking real estate listings, broker packages, and investment deals, supporting underwriting analysis and initial deal evaluations.
Requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Buildium, AppFolio, Google Workspace, and Excel.
