Software Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist

Job Description:

This position involves ensuring the quality of software products by executing rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, with experience in developing and maintaining test cases, scenarios, and scripts for QA testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough coverage of all software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and develop effective test cases and scenarios.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Provide expert-level technical support for troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues.
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders, including development teams, project managers, and senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in Agile methodologies and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with MS-SQL and ability to understand and modify existing SQL test cases or creation of new SQL to meet test requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Win Runner, Load Runner, Test Director, and QuickTest Pro is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
