Financial Accountant Job Description

The role of a Financial Accountant involves overseeing the financial aspects of a business, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes preparing monthly profit and loss reports, as well as balance sheet reports.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial data, analyzing trends, and making informed decisions to optimize business performance.

  • Tax reporting, inventory processing, and cash flow management are also key responsibilities of this position.

  • In addition, the Financial Accountant will be required to gather and interpret data to support project funding estimates, prepare weekly KPI reports, and control expenditure.

  • Advising on budget planning and assisting with year-end accounts preparation are also essential duties of this role.

  • Candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, respond to financial inquiries, conduct internal audits, and examine financial records for accuracy.

  • Maintenance of staff training programs and proficiency in MS Excel are also highly desirable.

  • Candidate should be familiar with US-based business environments and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexibly with US timings is essential.

  • Relevant certifications such as ACCA/CA/ICMA are preferred.
