We are seeking a skilled Pursuit Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative visual strategies, designing and laying out pursuit deliverables, and creating client-facing materials that showcase our expertise and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging cover art, charts, graphs, and packaging methods that support our pursuit's theme and resonate with our clients' business issues, culture, industry, and market position.
• Create visually appealing layouts within our established brand identity, incorporating strong typography and effective use of color, images, and fonts.
• Participate in kick-off meetings, debriefs, and oral preparation sessions to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality materials.
• Present design options and approaches to develop anticipated materials that are cohesive, integrated, and supportive of our overall pursuit theme.
• Collaborate with pursuit teams to provide a comprehensive business development coverage model for strategic, high-end pursuits.
• Drive design creativity and coach partner and pursuit teams to drive pursuit design innovation.
• Participate in pursuit strategy sessions and serve as an expert on strategic messaging, leading the conceptualization of all client-facing materials.
• Contribute to the development of account and opportunity value propositions.
• Maintain relationships with key interdependency groups, including Knowledge, Sectors, Service Lines, and Business Management Consulting (BMC).
• Participate in internal and external networks and deliver better understanding of outcomes by cascading Win/Loss review insights to account teams.
• Deliver improvement of Pursuits process with emphasis on design factors through extensive use of client feedback.
• Ensure the effective use of approved design strategy, approaches, and methods in all accounts and engagements.

Requirements

• Strong experience in graphic design with exposure to brand marketing.
• Knowledge of our products and services is helpful and essential upon assumption of the role.
• Ability to be agile in a high-paced environment and produce quality work under pressure.
• Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Maintain superior knowledge of graphics software tools, proficiency in firm-standard operating software, and design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and Acrobat Pro.
• Demonstrate executive presence, establish credibility quickly, command attention and respect, demonstrate confidence, and deal comfortably with clients and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• University/Bachelor/Technical degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-3+ years of Graphic Design/Communications/Pursuits Strategy experience.
• Familiarity with the workings of large global organizations.
• Strong understanding of Pursuit Activation or new business pitches.
• Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
