Data Analyst Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will have experience with data modeling, data visualization, and data analysis. They will also be proficient in SQL, especially Google BigQuery, and have experience with dbt for data workflows.

In this role, the candidate will troubleshoot and resolve issues with dashboards, update dashboards in Looker Studio for aesthetics and structure, write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery for data models and dashboards, collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate and clear reporting, maintain and improve dbt models, create and maintain documentation, such as dashboard guides and data dictionaries, work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dashboards, including data models and visualizations.
  2. Update dashboards in Looker Studio for aesthetics and structure.
  3. Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery for data models and dashboards.
  4. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate and clear reporting.
  5. Maintain and improve dbt models.
  6. Create and maintain documentation.
  7. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop dashboards and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SQL, especially Google BigQuery.
  • Experience with dbt for data workflows.
  • Skills in Looker Studio, including dashboard creation and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of data modeling best practices.
  • Attention to detail, documentation skills, and clear communication.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with dashboard and data schema documentation.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data or analytics roles.
