We are seeking an experienced Finance Specialist – Inventory Accounting to join our team.

Salary:

The salary for this position is competitive and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records for receipts, disbursements, and other accounting transactions. You will perform a variety of clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Inventory & Cost Accounting: Ensure timely and qualitative performance of month-end and during the month activities related to Inventory & Cost Accounting and Reporting.
  2. Becoming a Subject Matter Expert: Work towards becoming a subject matter expert and provide necessary support to the team.
  3. Providing Support: Provide required support to Regional Business Analysts / Finance Managers / Controllers as and when required.
  4. Metric Preparation: Provide support in timely preparation of metrics, dashboards, KPIs for reporting to Management.
  5. Process Improvements: Drive process improvements and keep SOP documentation up to date.
  6. Audit Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable internal controls (SOX & Non-SOX) and provide necessary support for smooth completion of internal & external audits.
  7. Customer Delight: Provide best-of-the-best service to clients and ensure customer delight.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • You should have semi or qualified cost accountants with 1-3 years of relevant experience in cost accounting area along with exposure to SAP MM.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Manufacturing Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Product Costing & Pricing.
  • Exposure to ERP environment for a period of 1 year preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and requirements.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and have a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Well organized and time management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams spread over different countries, centers, and time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment.
