E-Commerce Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce platforms, integrations, and related technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient e-commerce architectures that meet business demands. They will also communicate architectural strategies and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient e-commerce architectures that meet business demands.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy for our applications involved in the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Define and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards that support scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the adoption of new technologies like AI, machine learning, and personalization engines.
  • Communicate architectural strategies and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Ensure the e-commerce architecture supports high availability, performance, and scalability to meet business demands, especially during peak shopping periods.
  • Implement best practices for security and data privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes for architectural changes, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Participate in scoping, estimating efforts, etc.
  • Contribute to white papers, blogs, and Pre-Sales activities.
  • Manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
