Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Cybersecurity Expert to enhance our organization's cybersecurity posture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, including Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and compliance-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Threat Detection and Analysis: Monitor real-time security alerts and logs using SIEM tools to identify and analyze potential threats.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis to understand the nature and scope of the incident.
  • Triage and Escalation: Triage and escalate incidents as needed, following defined playbooks and procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Correlation Rule Development: Develop, tune, and maintain correlation rules and alert logic in SIEM platforms to optimize threat detection.
  • Threat Hunting: Conduct threat hunting to proactively identify abnormal behavior or potential breaches, staying one step ahead of emerging threats.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement of SOC processes to refine and enhance our cybersecurity capabilities.
Information Security & Compliance
  • Control Implementation: Implement and maintain technical and administrative controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, data, and applications.
  • SOX ITGC Support: Support SOX ITGC requirements by ensuring proper access controls, logging, change management, and monitoring are in place to maintain a secure environment.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence of controls, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and accountability.
  • Cybersecurity Policy Development: Develop, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to guide our teams and users in their efforts to protect our assets.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with IT teams to identify and address potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
  • Security Awareness: Educate internal teams and users on security awareness and best practices to foster a culture of cybersecurity within our organization.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, including SOC operations and compliance-related responsibilities.
