Software Developer Position
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to create and implement solutions in the eCommerce domain. This will be an on-site position, from our Islamabad office. The developer would work directly with a Saudi Arabia based client.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a keen eye for details, quality, and problem-solving skills. Experience or certification in Magento 2 is highly relevant, as well as web front-end implementation experience (JS, JQuery, CSS, Json, XML, HTML). Solid PHP programming experience in eCommerce is also essential. Other programming languages and frontend frameworks will be welcome too.

A suitable candidate will demonstrate an excellent attitude towards being part of meetings and brainstorming discussions, challenging different use cases, developing robust software that passes detailed unitary test cases, continuously improving usability and performance, understanding customer requirements, and writing high-quality code that meets those requirements.

This role focuses heavily on the usability and design of the web interface, so it's crucial to bring a superior understanding of GUI building and human interface functionality behind.

Experience in agile working and CI/CD is a must. The perfect candidate will have experience with Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira, Postman, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and Selenium.

This is a key role that requires:
  1. To attend stand-up meetings and contribute valuable insights to the team.
  2. To develop high-quality software in Magento.
  3. To design and implement user-friendly GUIs over great designs and usability.
  4. To craft engaging human interactions with attention to minute details and edge cases.
  5. To integrate backend APIs.
  6. To provide additional technical and functional details as needed to reach low-level specifications over high-level algorithms and use cases.
  7. To design proper unitary test cases for testing the quality of developed software.
  8. To set up testing environments and data needed for executing unitary and functional testing.
  9. To support the testing team.
  10. To maintain existing code by troubleshooting and enhancing it.
  11. To grasp perfectly the use cases of implemented and maintained solutions.
  12. To explain and present the different use cases and software components to other team members.
  13. To share knowledge and designs.
  14. To provide proper technical and project documentation.

Your Profile:
You hold an engineering, computing, telecommunications, or sciences degree.

  • You have valuable experience as a developer of eCommerce solutions (3-5 years).
  • You have valuable experience as a Magento 2 developer (3-5 years).
  • You have solid experience in JS, JQuery, CSS, Json, XML, HTML, and PHP.
  • You have valuable experience in implementing web applications.
  • You have valuable experience in designing and implementing GUIs.
  • You have strong CI/CD skills and experience.
  • You have trouble-shooting, bugs-fixing, root cause analysis, solutioning, and reporting skills.
  • You have experience using Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira, Postman, and Selenium.
  • You possess curiosity and a positive attitude.
  • You have ambition to learn and grow as a software engineering professional.
  • You have an end-to-end delivery mindset throughout the full lifecycle of software development.
  • You are respectful, a team-builder, a hard worker, and you have a flexible mindset.
  • You have excellent English skills and can communicate effectively with international teams where English is the primary language.
