Job Title: Fabric Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced fabric quality assurance specialist to conduct on-site visits to various knitting units. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in knitting processes and fabric types, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit multiple knitting units on a scheduled basis to inspect knitted fabrics for quality, consistency, and defects.
  • Verify compliance with design specifications, yarn quality, gauge, GSM, color, and finishing standards.
  • Identify issues such as holes, streaks, oil marks, yarn problems, or improper tension.
  • Communicate directly with unit supervisors to understand their processes and resolve concerns.
  • Take photographs and measurements where needed to support evaluations.
  • Prepare clear, structured, and accurate fabric inspection reports for company leadership.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and defect prevention.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fabric inspection, preferably in a knitting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of circular knitting machines, yarn types, fabric structures, and finishing.
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports and using inspection checklists.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
