Teacher Trainer Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive training and support to staff members, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to deliver high-quality education.

  1. Training new teachers on classroom management, including lesson planning, teaching methods, and communication techniques.
  2. Conducting in-depth orientations for new employees, covering essential topics such as teacher-child interactions, program planning, and routine implementation.
  3. Teaching staff about the importance of establishing routines to facilitate smooth transitions.
  4. Leading engaging and interactive circle time sessions during orientation.
  5. Ensuring proper food service, including serving lunch and snacks.
  6. Emphasizing the value of independence among students by promoting self-care habits, such as buttoning jackets and zipping hats.
  7. Maximizing the effectiveness of various centers through proper usage and organization.
  8. Observing and training experienced staff members who require improvement in their teaching methods.
  9. Setting goals for experienced teachers to enhance their performance.
  10. Attending to directors' forms outlining specific training needs for staff members.
  11. Coordinating room arrangements with the assistance of regional directors.
  12. Updating the teacher handbook, encompassing curriculum guidelines and best practices in teaching methods.
  13. Directly supervising staff and schools, including regular meetings with the Director of Curriculum.
  14. Procuring and distributing educational supplies and materials to classrooms.
  15. Communicating with floor directors regarding staff and child behavior concerns.
  16. Inspecting schools for maintenance and supply requirements quarterly.
  17. Staying current with new ideas by attending professional development opportunities and disseminating information to the Director of Curriculum and staff.
  18. Providing individualized meeting notes to schools before staff meetings, with a copy sent to the Director of Curriculum.
  19. Regularly updating school libraries, including tracking missing books.
  20. Collaborating with directors to ensure consistency in procedures across all schools.
  21. Maintaining the environment's upkeep and proper postings.
