Graphic Design and Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the latest design trends, software proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects, including logos, branding materials, social media graphics, and website elements.
  • Utilize industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
  • Conduct research and gather inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis.
  • Edit and manipulate video footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for YouTube and other social media channels.
  • Understand the narrative and objectives of the video content and develop a storytelling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience as a graphic designer and video editor, or in similar roles will be preferable.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and video editing projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and a variety of styles can be an added advantage.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms, with a focus on user-centered design (UI/UX).
  • Proficiency in animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Blender) and the ability to incorporate animations into video content.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and branding principles to create visually cohesive designs.
  • Familiarity with storyboarding and script-based video production.
