As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students through various methods including lectures, group discussions, and practical demonstrations.

A. Academic Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and critical thinking among students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to ensure students' academic success.
  • Evaluate student performance through formative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote research activities within the department and encourage students to participate in scholarly pursuits.
  • Stay up-to-date with recent developments in the subject area and propose amendments to the curriculum as needed.
  • Prepare educational materials such as slides, specimen, and video clips to support teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs for demonstrators and support staff.
  • Participate in workshops and training programs organized by the Department of Dental Education to enhance professional growth.
B. Management and Leadership:
  • Contribute to the organization and administration of the department, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication.
  • Inspire and promote professional ethics among junior doctors and students, fostering a culture of respect and integrity.
  • Implement college decisions, traditions, and values, actively working towards the institution's vision and mission.
  • Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities of students, promoting their overall development.
C. Additional Responsibilities:

You may be assigned additional duties by the Principal or Head of Department, aligning with your role and expertise.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
