System Engineer - Electrical

We are seeking an experienced electrical system engineer to join our deployment and configuration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain electrical systems, including turnstiles, access control, point-of-sale (POS), and ticket vending machines (TVMs).
  • Perform routine system inspections and performance evaluations to ensure they meet safety and efficiency standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and prevent potential problems.
  • Document service activities and generate detailed reports for completed tasks.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to industry standards.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance and service visits, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to customers and team members, staying up-to-date on emerging trends and advancements in electrical technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and their components, including wiring, circuits, and electronic devices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and drawings, using tools like blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingsness to travel for on-site assignments when necessary, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical system maintenance and installation, with a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Preferred: 5 years of hands-on experience, with a proven track record of successfully installing and maintaining electrical systems.

Education/Qualification:

  • A minimum of a Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Electronics or a related field, with a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
  • Preferred: A Bachelor's degree (BS) in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with advanced knowledge of electrical systems and technologies.
