Senior Systems Administrator Position

\

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems.

\

The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for determining business needs and evaluating existing infrastructure and systems. They will manage installation, configuration, and monitoring of the VMware infrastructure, including VMware fault tolerance and HA configurations.

\

The ideal candidate will have experience with troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues, as well as skills in Windows & Linux Server installation, configuration, and administration.

\

They should have a strong understanding of SAN switches installation, configuration, and management, as well as experience with DR site preparation, server rack mount, installation, and configuration.

\

The Senior Systems Administrator will also be responsible for datacenter monitoring, new servers rack mount, installation, and management, including maintaining the health and capacity of storage systems (SAN).

\

Maintaining security and compliance on all data center systems is crucial, as well as managing Linux services & processes and Linux & Windows storage and partitions.

\

Experience with auto scheduling Linux jobs with crontab and bash scripting, configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy, and deployment for system maintenance as needed is also desirable.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • Determining business needs and evaluating existing infrastructure and systems.
  • Manage installation, configuration, and monitoring of the VMware infrastructure.

  • Vulnerabilities scanner deployment and monitoring.
  • DR site preparation, server rack mount, installation, and configuration.
  • Datacenter monitoring, new servers rack mount, installation, and management.

  • Maintain security and compliance on all data center systems.
  • Management of Linux services & processes.

  • Auto scheduling Linux jobs with crontab and bash scripting.

  • Implementation & management of PAM.
  • Ivanti, Intune working experience for endpoint management.
  • MS Defender for endpoint protection.
  • Backup management using Veeam & Data Domain.
  • Working with Docker containers and images.
  • Writing Docker files and deploying Docker images with Docker files.
  • Working with Docker Compose files.
