About the Role

As a Product Design Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and technical integrity of our products. This involves handling end-to-end product technical support to guarantee that quality standards are met for bulk production.

You will be responsible for kickoff and line review precautions, addressing critical technical issues and children's safety call outs, providing TP technical clarification, and offering difficult style technical support to vendors.

In addition, you will evaluate FIT/PP, verify trim and fabric with Mer, check design and construction samples, take fit photos, and verify CAD patterns for correction.

You will also manage PLM systems, upload sample reports, suggest mock-ups, conduct vendor reviews, verify technical issues with customers, and follow up with vendors for e-pattern corrections.

Detailed Objectives
  • Collaborate with merchandisers, buyers, suppliers, and overseas office tech teams to complete the sample approval process.
  • Ensure timely submissions with good execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Resolving fitting issues using CAD software, preferably Gerber.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest garment design-construction trends and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with garment manufacturing guidelines, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques.
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to drive product quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in garment manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Garment Engineering or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel, PPT, MS Teams, and drawings.

Additional Information
