Job Description

We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to oversee the acquisition of direct and indirect materials, ensuring seamless procurement processes through collaboration with end-users, production planning teams, and other supply chain members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating float inquiries to gather information on material availability and pricing, preparing comparative statements and landed costs to inform procurement decisions, and issuing purchase orders, letters of credit (LCs), and coordinating with banks for import documentation and custom clearance.

Evaluating vendors to ensure reliable and high-quality supplies is also crucial in this role. The selected candidate will need to possess excellent communication and management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and minimize risks.
  • Analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure reliable and competitive sources.
Inventory Management

In addition to procurement responsibilities, the candidate will also be involved in inventory management, including material resource planning to optimize stock levels and minimize waste, and inventory control to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

This role requires a deep understanding of the fabric, garment, accessories, and yarn markets, both locally and internationally, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience working in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment.
