Cloud Computing Innovator

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Innovator to join our dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing the way we approach cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with talented engineers, and drive innovation in the field of cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement distributed inference platforms for serving large language models
  • Optimize runtime and infrastructure layers of the inference stack for best model performance
  • Develop native cross-platform inference support across NVIDIA and AMD GPUs for various model architectures
  • Contribute to open-source inference engines to enhance their performance on our cloud platform
  • Build tooling and observability to monitor system health and develop auto-tuning capabilities
  • Develop benchmarking frameworks to test model-serving performance and guide system and infrastructure tuning efforts
  • Mentor engineers on inference systems, GPU infrastructure, and distributed inference best practices

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience building distributed systems with Kubernetes, gRPC, Go, Python, GPU programming with CUDA, ROCm, L3-L7 network protocols, block storage, object storage, multi-tenant systems - identity management, tenant isolation, proven track record defining and achieving performance KPIs (latency, throughput, cost).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with one or more inference engines, familiarity with one or more distributed inference serving frameworks, knowledge of distributed inference optimization techniques, common LLM architectures, and inference optimization techniques would be beneficial.
