Job Summary

The role of Assistant Manager HSEQ is a critical position that requires the incumbent to ensure a safe working environment.

This includes conducting daily Gemba inspections, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions promptly.

The incumbent will also prepare and review EHS documents, check the implementation of the permit-to-work system, and inspect proper usage and storage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In addition, the Assistant Manager HSEQ will schedule level 1 and 2 audits of all departments, conduct training sessions, and provide safety stop sessions.

Responsibilities
  1. Daily Safety Checks: Conduct daily Gemba inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
  2. EHS Documentation: Prepare and review EHS documents, including SOPs and checklists.
  3. Permit-to-Work System: Check the implementation of the permit-to-work system to ensure safe working practices.
  4. PPE Management: Inspect proper usage and storage of PPE to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with regulations.
  5. Audits and Training: Schedule level 1 and 2 audits of all departments, conduct training sessions, and provide safety stop sessions.
