Key Performance Indicators for this position include the design, development and implementation of high-quality, performant services.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for building high-quality, performant services and a respect for fellow workers, clients, partners, and regulatory obligations.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years commercial hand-on software engineering experience and be proficient in building and using REST, WebSockets, and/or FIX-based APIs.

A Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline is required. The candidate will also need to have excellent software design and debugging skills.

Responsibilities
  • API Development: Design, build and enhance our extensive API based services written in Golang.
  • API Adoption: Contribute and encourage API adoption both internally and externally.
  • Feature Testing: Help write comprehensive end-to-end feature tests and examples based on the API.
  • Platform Integration: Support platform integration with Exchanges, Brokers, OTC Platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to ensure constant improvement and quality assured delivery.
  • Production System Monitoring: Monitor and support all production system components.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of commercial hand-on software engineering experience.
  • Crypto experience with CeFi and/or DeFi platforms.
  • Financial Services experience (Buy or Sell-Side).
  • Previously designed client-facing APIs.
  • Golang expertise or other structured languages (C#, C++, Rust).
  • Worked in cloud and containerised environments.
  • Proficient in building and using REST, WebSockets, and/or FIX-based APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent software design and debugging skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Proven ability to own outcomes and work effectively with others as required to deliver.
