Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Procurement Leader to oversee our purchasing operations. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the quality of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • IDentify reliable suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing for cost-effective purchasing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure timely supply.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, timeliness, and compliance with terms.
  • Adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical procurement practices.
  • Manage procurement processes, track KPIs, and report on cost savings and efficiency.
  • Improve procurement systems for better operational efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor procurement staff, promoting a high-performance culture.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing management.
  • Negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills.
  • Procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Sourcing and procurement techniques knowledge and market analysis.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CIPS is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in procurement (e.g., manufacturing, IT, construction).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:
  • Office-based / Hybrid / Remote work options available.
  • Occasional travel to supplier sites or trade events may be required.
