Job Description

Position Title: Backend Developer - Web Solutions Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using WordPress CMS.
  • Develop custom themes and plugins to enhance the functionality and user experience of websites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for website performance issues.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of technical requirements to determine the best approach for each project.
  • Work closely with designers and other developers to ensure seamless integration and consistent quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and programming practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress core functionality, including hooks, filters, and the WP REST API.
  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for developing custom WordPress plugins and optimizing database queries.
  • Ability to create bespoke WordPress themes from scratch or customize existing themes for pixel-perfect design and compatibility.
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design and accessibility.
  • Experience with server management, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and serverless architectures to ensure robust hosting and infrastructure setup.
