Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud services team, you will be responsible for the administration of container orchestration platforms based on Kubernetes, developing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, analyzing and implementing automation and optimization opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with container technologies (Docker or other runtimes) and proficiency in deploying, managing, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Cloud-Based container solutions (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud providers, build and operate CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with application modernization approach including containerization, APIs, and microservices, and hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients in the administration of container orchestration platforms based on Kubernetes deploying new platforms, performing upgrades, troubleshooting issues, etc.
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Analyze, identify, and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, Puppet, and other automation technologies.
  • Implement security best practices for cloud and containerized environments, including guardrails, role-based access controls (RBAC), and vulnerability scanning.
  • Draft technical documentation on cloud platform services, related procedures, and operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with container technologies (Docker or other runtimes) and proficiency in deploying, managing, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Cloud-Based container solutions (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud providers.
  • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines.
