Job Title:
Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead our financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist with audit preparation.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Review and improve accounting procedures and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Intuit Enterprise accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience with US Taxation.
  • Prior experience with mid-to-large-sized corporations.
