Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Taxation Professional to oversee the management of our financial resources, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and prepare accurate financial reports.

About the Role
As an Accounting and Taxation Professional, you will be responsible for preparing final accounts, managing bank and cash transactions, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. You will also oversee the management of the company's accounting system, monitor and renew credit limits with banks, and prepare monthly budgets based on the annual budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and filing online monthly Sales Tax returns and withholding statements, handling property tax, professional tax, and any other government levies, and creating Standard Operating Procedures for the accounts and finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare final accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Manage bank and cash transactions, including their reconciliations.
  • Oversee the management of the company's accounting system.
  • Monitor and renew credit limits with banks.
  • Prepare monthly budgets based on the annual budget.
  • Prepare and file online monthly Sales Tax returns and withholding statements.
  • Handle property tax, professional tax, and any other government levies.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures for the accounts and finance department.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a CA Finalist or equivalent qualification, at least 4-6 years of relevant professional experience post-article ship, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with accounting software and related ERP systems, honesty, and a strong work ethic. Experience in the Paper, Printing, Packaging & Stationery Industry is advantageous.
