Job Summary
A Demand Planner is required to drive end-to-end supply chain demand planning by defining and owning both short and long-term demand planning strategies. The role involves institutionalizing best practices, supporting tools, and forecasting SKU-wise demand.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data on market trends, fluctuations, sales trends, and other relevant factors to forecast each SKU's demand. They will track primary sales, secondary sales, and end stocks to help forecast primary sales volume. Additionally, they will analyze data points on sales, market conditions, and other factors to extract and extrapolate clean baseline sales for SKUs.

Main Responsibilities
Forecasting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly primary sales volume in the Demand Plan (excel-based)
Planning and tracking calendars for trade activities and consumer promotions
Revising and forecasting volumes for baseline sales, trade activations, and consumer promotion volumes monthly as per changes in run rates
Forecasting for changes in SKU prices, grammages, and other business decisions
Building volumes for new innovations
Maintaining and circulating the Demand Plan to all relevant stakeholders – Supply Chain, Trade, Finance, and Marketing

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business Management
3+ years of experience in Demand Planning
Proven analytical thinking skills
Computer literacy; software application and simulation models
Intermediate/Advance Excel skills
Analytical skills
Strong communication & interpersonal Skills
