Head of Product Design

This is a high-level leadership role that requires a deep understanding of product design principles and the ability to drive creative experiences that strike a balance between consumer goals and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of overall product design experience, both as an IC Product designer and a leader of design teams. Experience designing enterprise applications at scale is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities include owning the product design, leading brainstorming and ideation sessions on UX, and growing a high-performing design team to tackle cross-product challenges.

Other key skills include partnering with Product and Engineering leads to align on strategy, improving processes, and ensuring successful execution. Enhancing design practices within the team through processes like critiques and design sprints is also crucial.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of overall product design experience
  • Experience designing enterprise applications at scale
  • Mastery of design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and UX principles
  • Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements
  • Excellent communication skills to present and justify design decisions clearly
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns
