Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals for the role of API Management Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define or understand requirements, deliver projects, and support technical solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with digital transformation through API Management and API Security.
  • Propose solutions to clients based on best practices.
  • Develop and implement API security policies and configure API Management Solution.
  • Deploy, configure, tune, and monitor API Gateways.
  • Produce customer-facing technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support in troubleshooting customer issues.
  • Develop and maintain training and workshop material.
  • Collect and articulate customer feature requests to Development organization.
Requirements:

Candidates should be focused, motivated, and customer-centric. A suitable background includes:

  • Technical Knowledge: Web APIs, REST, XML, JSON, SOA/Web services, Internet/network security standards (WS Security, OAUTH, OpenID Connect, JWT, etc.).
  • Security Expertise: Proficiency in PKI, SSL, and SSH security implementations.
  • Operating System: Proficiency in Linux OS.
  • Integration Solutions: Experience in architecting and implementing integration solutions around key technologies.
  • Database and Identity Management: Experience with MySQL, Identity and access management systems (LDAP, CA SiteMinder, Oracle Access Manager); reliable messaging systems (JMS, WebSphere MQ, Tibco EMS); network infrastructure devices (switches, routers, load balancers); Single Sign On and delegated access technologies (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, and OpenID Connect), Apache Web Server.
  • Programming Skills: Previous experience programming with OS-level scripting (bash), XML transformations (XPATH and XSLT), and Java language.
  • Virtualized Environments: Experience with virtualized environments (VMware Server, VMware ESX/vSphere) and Cloud-based images (Amazon AMI).
