Help Desk Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will provide technical assistance and support to end-users on various desktop software and hardware. Your role will involve troubleshooting, installing, and configuring devices, as well as maintaining inventory of spares and IT assets.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in shifts. You must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in IT and be proficient in Windows and other authorized desktop software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support to end-users
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Maintain inventory of spares and IT assets
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on devices and software

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and have a good understanding of network fundamentals. You should have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
