Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Export Relationship Builder.

This role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts through in-person meetings, telephone calls, and strategic correspondence. You will be responsible for influencing distributors to understand their business strategies, researching requirements, and facilitating sales opportunities when applicable.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of state, federal, and international laws and regulations governing import and export trade. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role. The ability to cultivate and maintain successful partnerships with local vendors is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key accounts through regular communication and strategic planning.
  • Influence distributors to comprehend their business strategies and facilitate sales opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain courteous, efficient, and prompt customer relations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement effective methods for the transportation of commodities from designated shippers to warehouses, storage facilities, or final consignee locations.
  • Cultivate and maintain successful partnerships with local vendors, including airline representatives, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and delivery services.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state, federal, and international laws and regulations governing import and export trade.
  • Proven sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Business acumen and a customer-centric approach, with flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs.
