Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle APEX Professional to join our team in the manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle APEX application development, advanced understanding of manufacturing business processes and technical documentation best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deploy high-performance Oracle APEX applications that meet business requirements.
  • Create and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and triggers to support application functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Integrate APEX applications with other enterprise systems and databases for seamless data exchange.
  • Optimize existing applications for performance, usability and scalability by implementing effective database design and optimization strategies.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshoot issues related to APEX applications and underlying databases.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
  • Ensure data integrity, security and compliance in all APEX applications through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Support and train end-users on new applications or functionalities as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience in Oracle APEX application development.
  • Strong command of PL/SQL, SQL and programming principles.
  • Experience working with Oracle databases, knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry or knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and integration with APEX.
