Hospital Security Officer

The role of a Hospital Security Officer is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within healthcare facilities. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring a secure environment that promotes confidence and trust among patients and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Security and Safety Protocols: Implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures to prevent and respond to incidents.
- Incident Response: Assisting in minor investigations and responding to emergency calls and assisting in fire and other hospital emergencies.
- Access Control: Controlling visitor flow at the hospital, verifying staff, faculty, and student identification cards, and ensuring smooth traffic flow and parking discipline.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors, resolving conflicts and providing guidance when needed.
- Physical Fitness: Strong physical fitness level to handle shift duties and respond to emergency situations.
- Education and Experience: Completion of Matriculation or Intermediate education and at least two years of relevant experience in a military or law enforcement background.
- Technical Skills: Efficiency in handling small arms, unarmed combat, and communication equipment, as well as proficiency in driving light traffic vehicles.
