Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the website's architecture, and ensuring high-performance and availability.

You'll work closely with our design and content teams to ensure a robust and seamless user experience. Your expertise in WordPress development, including front-end and back-end development, is essential to delivering an exceptional web presence.

  • Design and implement new features and functionalities in WordPress.
  • Ensure high-performance and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
  • Create and maintain documentation of website architecture and workflow.
  • Conduct website performance tests and optimize for speed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, especially WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working WordPress pages.
