Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python/Manim developer to join our team and contribute to the creation of interactive, science and math-based educational content. The ideal candidate will possess excellent programming skills, a strong background in mathematics and science, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and scripting educational videos, collaborating with our content team to enhance our offerings, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in education. They will also conduct user testing on our iOS and Android apps and provide valuable feedback to our development team to improve app functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging science and math-based educational content using Manim and Matplotlib (python)
  • Collaborate with our content team to design and script educational videos
  • Conduct user testing on our iOS and Android apps
  • Provide valuable feedback to our development team to improve app functionality and user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into our content
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent skills in scientific programming with Python
  • Experience with Manim is a big advantage
  • Strong background in math and science curriculums for middle and secondary school levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in After Effects and video editing tools is a plus
  • Passion for creating engaging educational content
  • Energetic and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced startup environment
